I've been dying to post this since I saw it, but the outage kept me from sharing. Scott D. Danielson from The Fix, an online short fiction review site, recently reviewed a trio of novellas from Audible's Sci-Fi collection. One of these is The Hemingway Hoax. It's a short, but positive, review, and it concludes like this:
Eric Michael Summerer is a narrator I haven’t heard until now, and I’m looking forward to hearing him again.
It made my week, I tell you. Between that, and my cruising up and down the Eastern Seaboard for both an audiobook recording AND two video games, I really felt like a VO Rock Star last week. Okay, this next item helped too...
Apparently, Stefanie and I are celebrities. At least, according to whosdatedwho.com we are. There's a whole page dedicated to us as a couple, as well as individual pages for each of us. According to the site, we started dating the same year we got married, though it does have our marriage date correct. You can vote on how "hot" we are as a celebrity couple, as well as post links to fan and gossip sites about us.
I'm a little weirded out by this. Part of me wonders how they got this information. Is it culled from IMDB? Was someone at this organization assigned to research us? Should I be looking for paparazzi next time I walk Lucy? Oh well, weirder things have happened. I guess I'll just log a few more votes for us as a "Very Hot" couple...
